Jamie F., I Lost 10 lbs in 4 Weeks

When I signed up for the Drop 10 weight loss challenge I was skeptical that I could lose 10 pounds in only 4 weeks. I had recently joined Pinnacle Fitness and was still easing myself into working out again after so many years in couch potato status. Joining the challenge proved to be one of the most significant decisions I’ve made in the last year. Things in my life had gotten out of control. My workplace was on the losing end of a merger and my job was uncertain. I was sad, drinking and eating too much, and feeling really awful about where I was in life. I kept wanting to lose weight and make positive changes, but there always seemed to be something else that I needed to spend my energy doing.

Joining Pinnacle Fitness and the Drop 10 weight loss challenge allowed me to bring life back into focus. By making time for 4 workouts each week, cooking instead of eating out, planning lunches, dinners and snacks, I began to focus on myself again and it put everything else in perspective. Suddenly life’s challenges didn’t feel so hard. The difficulties haven’t gone away or resolved, but now I have focus, clarity and a positive outlook. For the first time in years I feel good about myself and I have David and Pinnacle Fitness to thank for it! What I gained in life was much greater than the 10 pounds, 2 dress sizes and 4% body fat lost. It’s been truly life changing and I can’t wait to see how much better it all feels once I make it to my goal weight!
